It seems like each doctor has a five minute time frame and are out for patient volume not personally caring for you. Deals with basic info, gives you some meds and refers you to the next specialist. In the meantime, not one is really listening or focused on your personal story. 8 diagnoses later, you all still have chronic asthma-type symptoms daily, medications are only bandaid at best. Truly my husbands miracle drug is 2 Aleve 3xs a day and proAir inhaler 2-4 times a day depending on his food intake and physical excertion. The doctors all say Aleve is not good for him and that it doesnt make sense. Yet it is the only thing that have given him a few hours of "normal" life. Still chronic cough several times a day. Going to find a general surgeon to discuss possible surgery. We had discussed chiropractic but have not followed thru, but what do you have to lose?? You all have to be your own advocates. What is your next step?
